The Bavarian department store Frey, which successfully operates with HERMES POS since 1999, has implemented the release change to the newest version. This implied the adaptation and revision of a number of functions specific for the department stores. An extensive reporting was also implemented.  The department store Frey with its headquarters in Cham is an example of the modern German store. Thanks to the new version of the HERMES cash register – version 2.3 – it is now possible to implement a standardized POS version in all fiscal countries. We have succeeded in convincing the sport article producer MAMMUT of the HERMES POS. Within short time and together with the Mammut IT and MESONIC (ERP system) we have implemented a communication that has also been optimized for chain stores.
The first productive store already opened in December 2010 in Linz center.

HERMES has been operating the gastronomy cash register for a couple of years – a point of sale with numerous functions specifically designed for our customers that operate a restaurant or a café. Now we have connected the Orderman cashing system to our POS. We thus support the current hardware generation Orderman SOL.
