With the introduction of the Hermes POS software hm³ at Tchibo international, the Hermes Cockpit as a control center for retail IT was optimized in many aspects and expanded with new functions. The Cockpit runs in a browser session and can be accessed from any workstation. This makes it possible for your administrator to make settings conveniently in the home office or on the road if needed.

The cockpit allows maintenance of the graphical cash register interface (GUI) such as:

  • Creating colored buttons and grouping them for articles, submenus and functions
  • Switch functions on and off
  • Distribution of software update to one workstation (pilot, test), to groups of workstations (country versions) up to global company-wide distribution

An overall view informs at any time about the status of your software landscape (version info) and about the health status (logs and error messages), so that you can see immediately if any interaction is required.

With the help of the cockpit, the back office for franchise branches can also be implemented in such a way that individual functions can be offered (price maintenance, article creation, own buttons and functions and much more).
